The purpose of the organization is to provide health and wellness education and services to seniors, students, and the community as well as internship opportunities for inner city students to gain experience in the areas of health and wellness, marketing, sales, public relations, project management, social media marketing and management, and community outreach.

Meet our 2021 Interns!
Keena Preston - Assistant Project Coordinator
My name is Keena Preston and I am a senior at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. I am currently majoring in Community Health with double concentrations in Health Education and Promotion and Health Planning and Administration, as well as a certificate in Global Health. Generally, I am interested in assisting with and researching disparities of marginalized groups. I am currently researching how Black Women on college campuses heal from sexual violence, global responsibility, and spirituality. I enjoy traveling, community organizing, volunteering, and enjoying different cuisines. With Natural Path Nutrition, I aim to foster the skills and knowledge needed to alleviate the issues the Black community faces.
Erin Gayles is a current third-year student at Spelman College enrolled as an English major, Management and Organization minor. Throughout college, she has gained interests in strategic communications and analytical business model decision-making. She is studying with the goal of pursuing a career in communications, working as a Director of Communications for an entertainment based company. Additionally, she has explored her passion for project-based creative work, using a variety of different platforms to produce written and digital content. This has influenced her to engage in her community, using her skills to create outlets that speak to equal accessibility to health in underserved communities. As a student and professional she is a forward-thinker, creative, and innovator.
Erin Gayles - Communications Coordinator
Taliah is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign(UIUC), where she majored in Psychology and minored in Criminology, Law, and Society. She is passionate about advocating for marginalized groups, educating others on the importance of mental and physical health, and the importance of a strong community. During her time at UIUC, Taliah served as a Counseling Center Paraprofessional and the Black Greek Council President. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she served as the Physical and Mental Health Committee Chair and organized programs on campus geared towards promoting holistic wellness. Taliah is currently preparing for law school while simultaneously conducting research in the Race Advocacy Civic Engagement Lab. Her research interests include institutional racism, sense of community/social responsibility in Tanzania, and race and sex differences in police diversity training interpretations. During the summer of 2020, Taliah organized and led two protests to take a stand against racism in Campustown establishments and spread awareness about the harm these establishments cause students of color. Taliah plans on obtaining a JD and practicing law to continue to use her voice to advocate for others and fight for social justice.
